Released in late October, Buble’s album is on pace to become the second biggest-selling US album of the year, behind only Adele’s “21.”
Billboard reports it already sold 1.52 million copies, and may have sold another 500,00 last week, giving “Christmas” its 4th consecutive week at #1.
Estimates put Buble at about 2.4 million by year’s end, ahead of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” at 2 million, but far behind Adele at 5 million.
Naturally, the Canadian crooner is appearing in holiday specials all over the place this time of year, including his UK show, “Michael Buble: Home For Christmas.”
One of the highlights of the broadcast is a duet with Kelly Rowland for the holiday classic, “White Christmas,” on which the pair are backed up by the doo-wop group Naturally 7.
