Avril was in NYC doing several talk shows, including an appearance on Live! With Kelly, who’s now flying solo with special guest co-hosts since the departure of Regis Philbin.
Kelly’s co-host on Lavigne’s visit was Neil Patrick Harris, and the three had time for a quick interview between songs.
Avril played two tracks on the program: the single, plus a funky, acoustic version of “Smile” as the program’s end credits rolled.
