VIDEO: Oprah’s interview with Whitney Houston’s family

This past weekend, Oprah aired her interview with Whitney Houston’s family on her “Oprah’s Next Chapter” series.

Whitney's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, her sister-in-law Patricia Houston, and her brother Gary Houston joined Oprah for their first interview since the pop singer’s passing.

Patricia described the scene at the Beverly Hilton when she arrived at Whitney’s room.

"When I got into the room, I saw my brother [Ray, a security guard] trying to revive her, to the point of exhaustion." By then, the paramedics had arrived.

"I said, 'Ray, let it go.' They asked him to move. He was on his knees. He said, 'I tried.' He was so out of breath. I felt so badly for him. So badly for him."

Bobbi Kristina spoke with Oprah about her last day with her mom.

“That very last day, it was so, so early in the morning,” said Bobbi Kiristina, “I don’t why, but I went to go get her and I said, ‘You know, Mom, will you just come lay down with me.' She stayed with me all night and all day. She was rubbing my head, holding me, and I slept in her arms.”

Oprah asked Bobbi Kristina if her mother’s passing seemed real, so soon after the February 11 event.

“Sometimes, no,” she replied. “Sometimes it’s so surreal that I still walk in the house and it’s like, ‘Mom?’ I still call her name,” adding “I’ve accepted it.”
