Katy Perry is premiering a new Christmas song, "Every Day Is A Holiday", in a new commercial promoting H&M's #HappyAndMerry seasonal campaign.

“The song was written expressly for the commercial,” says Perry. “Gonna have to wait a little longer for the next single.”

The ad presents Perry as a fairy alongside a cast of seasonal characters including dancing elves, nutcrackers and gingerbread men, among others – including shirtless model Sean O'Pry, who appeared in Taylor Swift's “Blank Space” video.

Perry’s latest album is 2013’s “Prism”, which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 with 286,000 copies sold – the singer’s best opening week to date.

The project has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide, including 1.65 million in the States alone.

Katy Perry joined Madonna on stage at The Forum in Los Angeles on Tuesday during her performance of “Unapologetic Bitch."

Perry was pulled from the crowd and brought to center stage as Madonna and her dancers delivered the final song of the show’s regular set.

Madonna spanked and grinded on Perry as the tune wrapped up, with Katy saying “Thanks, Mom!”

Madonna then thanked her guest and offered her a drink from a banana flask to mark the occasion.

"Sharing a Banana with Katy Perry‼,” posted Madonna after the concert. “Highlight of my show at the Forum!”

"Well, that was unrehearsed," Perry tweeted. "ILY @madonna my QUEEN."

Madonna will wrap up the North American leg of her Rebel Heart tour on October 29 in San Diego, CA. She’ll return to live action in January with dates in Mexico and more US shows.

Earlier this year, “Rebel Heart” debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart with sales of 121,000 copies in its opening week.

Katy Perry has released unseen footage from the filming of her video for hit single, “Birthday.”

The original clip featured Perry dressed in five characters: Goldie the Dancer, Yosef Shulem, Kriss The Clown, Ace the Animal Trainer and Princess Mandee.

Perry reportedly attended five birthday parties this past spring in each of the characters, and no one recognized her.

The first two behind-the-scenes videos feature looks at Goldie The Dancer and Princess Mandee.

“Birthday” is the fourth single released by Perry from her latest album, “Prism.” The tune follows previous hits “Roar”, “Unconditionally” and “Dark Horse.”

Perry is currently playing shows across North America on her “Prismatic” world tour.

Katy Perry has set a new US chart record with her latest single, “Dark Horse.”

Billboard reports the singer claims the record for the most weeks at No. 1 in the 21-year history of Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J tops the list for a fourth week.

Perry sets the chart record with a career total of 46 weeks at No. 1, passing Mariah Carey’s total of 45; Pink is third on the list with 32 weeks.

Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart measures the most weekly plays at mainstream US top 40 stations.

Last week, “Dark Horse” also bested Perry’s mark for the most weekly plays (16,151) in the chart's archives, ahead of the 16,065 spins she snagged for "Roar", the lead single from her current album, “Prism.”

Perry will launch the Prismatic World Tour in Belfast on May 7, 2014.

Katy Perry has announced dates for the Australian leg of her upcoming Prismatic world tour.

The pop superstar will play seven shows down under, starting November 7 in Perth, before hitting Adelaide, Melbourne (2 dates), Sydney (2 dates) and Brisbane.

Tickets go on sale March 11, though customers of the Testra telecoms company have access to a 48-hour pre-sale from March 5 through the tour’s partnership with Telstra Thanks.

Perry will soon announce dates for shows in New Zealand.

This week, the singer released her new video for “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J as the latest single from “Prism.”

Directed by Matthew Cullen – who also shot her “California Gurls” video – it’s the third track issued from Perry’s latest, following the lead single, “Roar”, and “Unconditionally.”

Perry will launch the Prismatic World Tour in Belfast on May 7, 2014.

The pop superstar delivered the live debut of the song recently as she closed out the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on location at the Brooklyn Bridge.

"I started the record in November, but things were really flowing by the spring and it's a song about standing up for yourself," Perry told MTV News. "Who can be the biggest bully in the equation is yourself and can get in your way and it's a song about speaking up for yourself and having the strength."

Due October 22, Perry’s fourth album, “Prism”, is the follow-up to the 2010 smash, “Teenage Dream”, which sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

The four-time VMA winner delivered the live performance debut of the tune in a boxing ring under the Brooklyn Bridge.

Perry recently released “Roar” two days ahead of schedule due to an online leak of the song.

The singer posted 30-second snippets of “Dark Horse” and “Walking On Air” from the album, which is due October 22.

Perry has had fans vote on which of the two tracks will be issued September 17 as the follow-up to the album’s lead single, “Roar.”

Katy Perry will perform her just-released new single, “Roar”, at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York on August 25.

The four-time VMA winner will deliver the live performance debut of “Roar” during the show.

Perry released the song over the weekend, two days ahead of schedule due to an online leak of the song.

The lead track from her forthcoming album, “Prism”, was originally scheduled for release on Monday, but was issued to radio stations on Saturday.

“Looks like there's a tiger on the loose!!!,” posted Perry on Sunday.

Due October 22, Perry’s fourth album, “Prism”, is the follow-up to the 2010 smash, “Teenage Dream”, which sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

Katy Perry has released her new single, “Roar”, two days ahead of schedule due to an online leak of the song.

“Looks like there's a tiger on the loose!!!,” posted Perry on Sunday. “Make sure you catch it on iTunes at midnight EDT TONIGHT!”

Due October 22, Perry’s fourth album, “Prism”, is the follow-up to the 2010 smash, “Teenage Dream”, which sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

“Teenage Dream” made Billboard history with five No. 1 singles, a single-album record for a female artist, and is the third album in history to produce eight top five hits.

Perry plays the role of Smurfette in the new film, “Smurfs 2”, which is in theaters now.
