It’s been a couple of years since Christina Aguilera released an album, and now there’s rumors that a follow-up to 2010’s “Bionic” is in the works.
Sources tell Billboard that a new single from Aguilera is expected to be released in early August.
The club song was produced by Max Martin (Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry), and its chorus is built around the line, "All I want to do is what you wanted."
Aguilera has enjoyed two seasons as a mentor/judge on NBC’s “The Voice,” working alongside fellow artists Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
The music reality series returns this fall.
