“I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all,” she told fans last week. “The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors.”
The operation, performed by Dr. Steven Zeitels at Massachusetts General Hospital, was to stop a vocal cord hemorrhage from a benign polyp, which has caused the British singer to cancel concerts and personal appearances, in both the US and at home, through the end of this year.
Fans missing the UK singer will be able to enjoy her next week when she releases “Live At The Royal Albert Hall" on DVD and Blu-ray on November 29.
Adele is giving fans a preview of the new live package with the release of “Turning Tables” from the DVD.
