Justin Bieber has made yet another splash on the US charts.

Billboard reports Justin’s new single, “Boyfriend,” has debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

While Fun’s “We Are Young” featuring Janelle Monae held on to the #1 spot for a fifth week, Bieber’s lead single from his forthcoming "Believe" album had the second-highest-ever debut digital sales week.

"Boyfriend" opens atop the Digital Songs chart with 521,000 first-week downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Since SoundScan began tracking digital sales (in February 2005), only Flo Rida's "Right Round" has debuted on Digital Songs with a higher total (636,000, the week of Feb. 28, 2009).

The opening digital sales total for "Boyfriend" is also the fourth-best for any song, debut or already charted.
