One Direction continue to make the rounds to promote their just-released sophomore album, “Take Me Home.”
On Thursday, the UK pop sensation stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat with the host about the new project, and to perform their smash hit, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
The song was the band’s debut single and lead single from their debut studio album, 2011’s “Up All Night.”
That record had the distinction of being the first time a U.K. group's debut album entered at No. 1 in the history of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart; now, the new effort, “Take Me Home,” is expected to repeat with a No. 1 entry on this week’s chart when it is released next week.
