Kelly Clarkson almost stole the show at President Obama’s second Inauguration on Monday.
Kelly was on hand to sing “My Country Tis of Thee", and her performance was of such high caliber that it left many in the crowd speechless, including New York Senator Charles Schumer, who summed up Clarkson's vocal with one word: "wow."
Following her song, Clarkson shook hands with the President, an image that she posted (above) after the event, writing, “Maybe the coolest photo I've ever been in ....ever :)"
Beyonce, James Taylor and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir were among the entertainers for Monday’s ceremony in Washington.
