After more than a month of endlessly and needlessly teasing fans with previews of his video for “Boyfriend,” Justin Bieber finally released the clip on Thursday.
The song is the lead single from Bieber’s forthcoming album, “Believe,” which is due June 19.
“Boyfriend” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart a few weeks ago while snagging the second-highest-ever debut digital sales week.
The track sold 521,000 first-week downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Since SoundScan began tracking digital sales (in February 2005), only Flo Rida's "Right Round" has debuted on Digital Songs with a higher total (636,000, the week of Feb. 28, 2009).
