Adele is feeling the Olympic spirit as the games continues in London.
The pop singer took to twitter on Wednesday to congratulate British rowers Helen Glover and Heather Stanning after they won gold in the Women's Pairs rowing final, marking the first gold medal a Brit has picked up at this summer's Olympics.
“Go on girls! Congrats Helen and Heather, sooo happy for you! Our 1st gold medalists :),” wrote Adele.
A little over a month ago, the UK singing sensation sharing some exciting news of her own with fans.
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” Adele wrote on her blog. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
Adele’s boyfriend is Simon Konecki, a fellow Brit she reportedly met last year.
