Adele retains her #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart this week.
Now in its 17th week on top, Billboard reports Adele’s “21” has been #1 longer than any other album since "The Bodyguard" soundtrack wrapped a 20-week run at No. 1 on the chart dated May 29, 1993.
“21” sold 95,000 copies in the past week to maintain its #1 status.
The UK singer is confirmed to make her UK live comeback at the 2012 Brit Awards ceremony on February 21 at London's O2 Arena.
She’s also rumored to be in talks with producer at The Grammys to appear as the opening act at the February 12 event in Los Angeles.
