Justin Bieber’s new album, “Believe,” is a little under a month away from its June 19th release.

In the meantime, Bieber fever continues to build as the pop star performed his current single, “Boyfriend,” on the 2012 Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.

Justin snagged the Top Social Artist trophy early in the broadcast, over artists like Eminem, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Shakira.

"The internet is where I got my start, and all my fans have helped me get to this position," Bieber said while accepting the award.

"Boyfriend" debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100; the song currently sits at #9.
